We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our growing team as a Product & Strategy Analyst/Associate.  This role affords a singular opportunity to work closely with a world-class team to help build a disruptive, mission-driven, physician-led clinical delivery organization from the ground up!

Overview

 

The Product & Strategy Analyst/Associate is responsible for partnering with company leadership to help identify and solve key strategic and product development questions using qualitative and quantitative data.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to evaluate potential clinical and non-clinical product development opportunities to deliver value at all points across the Value Based Spectrum
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to support market trend, competitive landscape, and opportunity analyses to support company level strategic decision-making
  • Conduct secondary internal and external research, interviewing, and data gathering
  • Synthesize results of quantitative and qualitative analyses into key trends, implications, and/or recommendations
  • Leverage internal data to derive meaningful insights and develop content that will be used in executive level reports and presentations to achieve buy-in for strategic recommendations
  • Serve as a voice of Novocardia’s practice partners and the patients, families, and communities they serve by ensuring key customer-experience related considerations are prioritized
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in economics, statistics, business, or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred
  • 2-4 years’ experience performing qualitative and quantitative analyses in a healthcare setting; deep understanding of value-based care models is a plus
  • Deep experience and proficiency with business tools such Microsoft Excel, PivotTable, PowerPoint, and Tableau
  • Experience working with a variety of data formats to create charts, graphs, tables, and other visual means of representing key aspects of data
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to develop advanced analytic models (e.g., forecasting)
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced, ever-changing, start-up environment
  • Solutions focused, ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, proactive, and organized
  • Ability to communicate progress and results to cross-functional audiences via in person meetings, web conferences, and technical/non-technical documents
  • Exceptional attention to detail; exceptional organizational skills; ability to prioritize competing initiatives and operate with ambiguity
  • Resourceful and assertive; ability to leverage resources across the organization to get things done; relentless in willingness to seek help and clarification 
  • Excited to roll up sleeves, dig in, and collaborate with colleagues to help the company grow and succeed
  • Acts with honor, integrity, and a high level of professionalism
